Re: RECIPES
Why? Worcestershire sauce's main ingredients are soy sauce and anchovies. What's the problem with adding more fish?
The problem is putting Worcestershire sauce on spaghetti. Blech.

Now I know what you're all thinking: "PKMKII, that brisket recipe sounds great, but I'm incapable of following a recipe without helpful images/food porn to guide me." Well you're in luck!

Day 1 ingredients: brisket, salt, olive oil, garlic

Brisket in the ziploc bag with the aforementioned spices and olive oil (grease stain on stove optional)

Day 2 ingredients: tomatoes, celery, carrots, beef broth, onion

Re: RECIPES

Brisket after a night in the ziploc (note I poured all the olive oil and other liquids in the pan as well).

Brisket broiling.

Brisket, broth, and veggies ready to go. I cut the veggies rather large, because they shrink down after 4 hours.

Re: RECIPES
Do you include couscous as pasta? I can give you a roasted vegetables and couscous recipe that works fine without the tomatoes (or the half a dead sheep that me 'n' the boy would like, but Mrs. H. refuses to eat).farfalla wrote:anyone out there have a vegetarian (no pasta [sorry fsm] and no tomatoes) not very spicy main dish?

Sounds like you are left with just oatmeal, if you have no pasta and no tomatoes. (And what's the point of eating, if you aren't eating pasta or tomatoes?)
TVP curry is good, but spicy. Will he do cheese or eggs?
Stir-fried vegetables with rice? Will that work?
