Wheat Allergies?

Postby gnoodles » Wed Aug 24, 2005 3:11 pm

I recently heard of a catholic communion being disallowed because they used a rice cracker instead of a whet cracker, due to allergies. I know that rice noodles are a poor substitute for durum semolina, but are they a suitable substitute in communion under the circumstance?

From the holy scriptures:

"He is not of gluten made, nor wheat, nor rice nor maize. Those who must shun such grains will not be turned away from His divine grace. His noodly appendages are not of these grains but all grains are of Him, as He is the divine and original pasta. Forever and ever, RAmen."
