I tried to sit through Deadpool , i didn't last 20 minutes . The character , the sound of his voice , the delivery of his dialogue , and much of his lines just grated my nerves for some reason .
Into the waste bin for that one .

Re: What's The Last Movie You Saw?
I couldn't sit through the Superman vs Batman , lots of flash but I loathe films with drawn out scenes .
I was sitting for who knows how long with those two fighting , I left to prep dinner and came back with them still at it , so i left again to tend to my bro and come back to more of the same . I will try to give it another try in the future but i couldn't care less if i never do and i am fan of those two ,well i was .
Star Trek Beyond was good trekking and i am watching it again for the third time .
Suicide Squad also could not hold my attention , it was the drawn out scenes that had me yawning . Same status as Supes vs Batguy .
I still want to view X-Men Days of Future Past , I couldn't do it before with brother constantly making noises throughout , without once , a measly two or three seconds of silence from him .

Discovered that a flatmate had never seen The Princess Bride.
So we remedied that.

Life , a sci-fi flick is making the rounds on the movie network .
It is another predictable Alien type movie with decent effects and acting but ... all the stooopid ... it had me screaming at the telly and laughing at all the human deaths as well as chearing for the alien life form .
Because of the stupid , i give it a 4.5/10 . Argh

Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
There is one really stupid bit where Carrie Fisher becomes Mary Poppins. Should have ended up on the cutting room floor.
Apart from that I loved it. Mark Hamill is brilliant, and can actually act. Who knew? Some of the Carrie Fisher stuff is hard to watch, because she brilliantly portrays a wise and compassionate leader who values human life. Also, she's dead now.
Kylo / Ben and Rey are rounded out as characters. Andy Serkis is Mr CGI Villain for the hundredth time. It's his niche. R2D2 appears but does not feature. Maybe due to the death of Kenny Baker?
They have not gone down the James Bond route of making the same movie 20 times with different villains. The canon has moved on.

A Charlie Brown Christmas.
Weep for me.

English isn't much of a language for swearing. When I studied Ancient Greek I was delighted to discover a single word - Rhaphanidosthai - which translates roughly as "Be thou thrust up the fundament with a radish for adultery."
