Hellboy 2, like I said on the Last Post thread it's entertaining, though a bit dumb. Still great in my books though.

Well, way to make me feel behind the times - I just finally saw the original "Hellboy" a couple of weeks ago.

Pretty good, probably will see the new one a little less tardy-ly...

Just watched 'The Prestige' with an all star cast of Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Michael Caine and David Bowie...excellent stuff.
The smoke wafted gently in the breeze across the poop deck and all seemed right in the world.

The Prestige was a truly great movie.

Just watch Sid and Nancy, which was good, and Fritz the Cat, which wasn't.

One of my favourite movies, definitely.

Since watching 'The Prestige' I've become really interested in Nikola Tesla. Did you know he tried to sell a 'Death Ray' to the USA and then offered it to European countries?

The Tesla Coil in Command & Conquer was badass.

A little premature, but going to see Burn After Reading tomorrow! Can't wait, love the Coen brothers.

I loved Wall-E.
It was a cute movie and educational, but not overly/

Hancock.

But only for the scene with Will Smith's arse in tattered jeans.

It didn't disappoint,

I agree with the "Burn After Reading" enthusiasts..... it was almost as good as Fargo, but with a more grotesque bizarre delirious twist... not quite so disturbing, but still concerned with the triumph of chaos and the tragic-comedy of situations getting completely out of hand and the predominance of stupid people (what does Malkovich say to the guy in the cellar “You are another one of the idiots I’ve been fighting against all my life”? or something like that….) I think the Coen brothers think the US (and by extension the world) is full of such idiots suffering from schizophrenic dissociation… hence the final images of pulling back from Washington (or wherever) and getting a satellite’s eye view of the US.
