It's on DVD now. Very objective film, I felt, even though it is dramatic. Gave me the willies.

Looking for the best FSM vs. Intelligent Design threads.

I'm taking a philosophy course in college and we need to give a presentation on a some kind of philosophic topic. It needs to be a critical analysis, so instead of talking about FSMism and detailing its obvious satirical background, I thought it'd be a good idea to pit it up against intelligent desi...

Cafepress vs. Spreadshirt

So it appears there are two places to buy t-shirts from and they both offer very similar items... so who do I go with? Has anyone bought from both and can comment on the quality of their products? Thanks.

My interpretation is that it's a deconstruction of the standard "three wishes" joke. We're led to expect that the man's final wish will have dire consequences based on some kind of silly or ironic misunderstanding (as in "make me a ham sandwich" or "...and that half-deaf ge...

Orange for a Head

A bloke walks into a pub, and the landlord is astonished to see that half of his head is an orange! The man orders a drink, and the landlord, unable to contain his curiosity any longer, says to the man 'Excuse me mate, but how on earth did you end up with one half of your head being an orange?' 'Wel...

Upcoming Documentary: Jesus Camp

A documentary called "Jesus Camp" debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival late April and it's looking for a distributor and I hope it finds one because it looks like a winner. Here's a description from its website: A growing number of Evangelical Christians believe there is a revival underway...

It's so sad that I Heart Huckabees didn't get the love it deserved. When I saw it, it jumped into my top five of favorite movies. Mark Wahlberg never performed better.

Also, the soundtrack is simply fantastic with music that actually relates to the film. Jon Brion is a genius.

I recently took an Intro to Film course and Lost Highway was the last film we watched for the semester and without a doubt, it was the most f'ed up movie I had ever seen. The teacher didn't even bother explaining it (we watched it for its use of music and sound) and said to Google the hundreds of th...

MySpace.

When I walk around my college campus, I would have to say that at least 7 out of every 10 computers are being used to waste time on MySpace. Very frustrating when you need to use one for say... doing homework!! :x

Best FF Character Ever: Auron. I have a twelve-inch figure sitting atop my desk.

Also, how many of you have seen Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children? Three times for me since it came out. Oh Nobuo Uematsu, how do you aurally pleasure me so?
